In the summer of 1996, Barry Edzant’s personal injury practice would accidentally branch off into another direction. During a family vacation, the brakes of his wife’s 1996 Dodge Caravan would catch on fire, prompting a long, frustrating campaign of unsuccessful attempts to repair the brakes. Not knowing much about the California Lemon Law, he retained an attorney specializing in the Lemon Law. Within ninety days, the Edzant family had a new Dodge Caravan - at no cost.

Since 1997, Barry Edzant has earned the respect of all of the major auto manufacturers, local auto dealerships, and Lemon Law defense attorneys, for his competent and cooperative style of practice. My goal in every case is to avoid costly and protracted litigation. We will, and often do, aggressively litigate Lemon Law cases, but will do so only after the auto manufacture fails to cooperate with our efforts to settle. As a result, the vast majority of cases we handle settle very quickly, and painlessly.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to represent the "little guys" against the corporate giants such as Ford, GM, and Daimler-Chrysler. It’s a wonderful feeling when your clients call and tell you how safe they now feel with their new vehicle.

Barry Edzant currently resides in the Santa Clarita Valley with his wife of twenty years, and his two teenaged children. When not fighting for the consumer, he enjoys viewing live performances, playing golf, and is an avid woodworker.
